Hotel Cardinal - Aix-en-Provence

great location but rooms need some small tweaks

The hotel is located on a quiet street, perfect for a restful stay. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the spacious bathroom that added to the overall luxury of the room. Plus, the city view from my window was amazing.

The shower hose over the tub was a bit tricky to manage.

the location was perfect, for example, a diverse cathedral was at a moderate distance from the hotel. the staff was really helpful, solved all problems we had. we booked double room that was complete with a beautiful view, good a/c plus a private garden as advertised.

The hotel has very, very nice staff. It has unbeatable very central location to the farmers market.

Our experience was marred by numerous annoyances. The reception staff did not seem very professional or helpful at all. We faced serious inconveniences with our room as it had an awkward two-floor layout. The breakfast offerings were disappointingly meager-only a small tray with bread and a croissant each day, leaving us hungry. This is unacceptable for a hotel. I won't be returning.

The room I got was great-sized with a private garden and nice design, for instance. Location: the hotel was just next door to good transport, the heart of Aix en Provence, and the city center.

The staff were helpful, assisting with my luggage and providing wonderful recommendations. The location, tucked away near a lovely square, offered both serenity and convenience for exploring Aix-en-Provence.

The WiFi was a bit unreliable.

The location was excellent, with access to local market shops and dining options. Our room was well furnished with a kitchenette, perfect for preparing meals with a view of the museum and church. The bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired, and there was a lack of a shower curtain, made showering inconvenient.

Hotel Cardinal has an amazing location on the edge of Old Town. The room was lovely and spacious with warm decor. Tried the breakfast service, served on a silver tray-a charming touch. The front staff was helpful and cute.

The room was super spacious and had high ceilings, feel airy. Plus, the private garden was a nice touch for morning coffee. The folks at the front desk were really friendly and helped us find a great spot for dinner. The only thing was the shower. It took a bit to figure out the hose. It was charming!

Just an ideal choice for strolling in Aix-en-Provence with excellent value for money. The breakfast was typical French, served on a silver tray, a nice touch. Make sure to explore nearby sights on foot for the best experience.

Our stay was delightful, especially the beautiful courtyard and well-designed family room, though the narrow streets made parking tricky. I'd definitely come back again!
